REVIEWS
The Tall Poppies’ two-disc set of the Mozart Piano Trios is another success story for the local industry. Though these works are Mozart at his most easy-going, and far from the rigours of the piano quartets, they are full of melodic invention and make for highly enjoyable listening when played as elegantly as they are here.
Mozartrois got together specifically to make these recordings but no doubt with the obvious success of their partnership they will go on to make further discs.
